(Fredericton) After seven years with the company, Susan Ready will be leaving her position as General Manager at Theatre New Brunswick in May 2018.
Ready joined the TNB team in September 2010 after graduating from Ryerson University in Ontario.
“These past seven years have been a very important time of my life,” said Ready. “I’m so lucky to be part of a company that continually creates and inspires the community around us.
“I am sad to be leaving but excited about what the future holds for both myself and the company. I wish Theatre New Brunswick all the best and will continue to support them in their next chapter.”
Beginning her career as Production Manager where she proved to be an integral part the production process, Ready accepted the job of General Manager in 2014 as part of company restructuring plan.
Working closely with Artistic Director Thomas Morgan Jones and the rest of the TNB staff over the past few years, Ready oversaw a number of major projects including renovations that lead to the creation of the Open Space Theatre and improved rehearsal facilities for the TNB Theatre School.
“I am pleased to congratulate Susan on her successful career at Theatre New Brunswick and to thank her for the seven years of hard work, dedication and love that she has given to the company,” said TNB Board of Governors chair Deborah Burns. “I have come to know Susan as a multi-talented person, always willing to take on new and challenging responsibilities with skill and good humour. Each of us on the Board of Governors will miss her and we wish her every success and happiness.”
